A comprehensive reference to the history of the U.S. and Canada from prehistory to the present. It includes approximately 400,000 bibliographic entries, with abstracts, covering over 2000 journals published worldwide, as well as citations to books and dissertations.

Auto Repair Reference Center  

This MCLS group subscription is offered to Public Libraries. EBSCO Auto Repair Reference Center is a comprehensive automotive repair database remotely accessible and created in conjunction with Point 5 Technologies. This database contains complete automotive repair information supplied by Nichols Publishing, publisher of Chilton® information. Auto Repair Reference Center contains information on every major manufacturer of domestic and imported vehicles with repair manuals for most vintage makes starting as far back as 1954. Unlimited Access in-house and remote.

Book Collection: Non Fiction  

Book Collection: Nonfiction is a cross-curricular database providing content representing a wide spectrum of works, including popular series from top book publishers such as Allosaurus Publishers, Bess Press, Inc., Branden Publishing, Capstone Press, Compass Point Books, Fulcrum Publishing, Lerner Publishing Group, Mason Crest Publishers, Morgan Reynolds, Inc., Morning Glory Press, Oliver Press, Rourke Publishing, LLC and Stackpole Books. It contains informative abstracts and searchable full text for more than 4,200 popular nonfiction books. The database includes full text entries on core subject areas, as well as information on careers, health, sports, adventure, technology, life skills and more.

CINAHL Plus with full-text  

CINAHL Plus with full-text provides full text for over 500 journals, plus legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, drug records, research instruments and clinical trials. PDF backfiles to 1937 are also included. MCLS group subscription to CINAHL Plus with full-text runs annually from October 1 - September 30.  Access is unlimited in-house and remote.

Footnote.com  

Footnote.com combines original historical documents and personal histories, creating a unique historical and genealogical resource. Footnote.com has a vast array of valuable and unique content consisting of well over 50 million historical documents and images. The collection features millions of images available from a content partnership with The National Archives. These digital images of records, preserved in the National Archives and other regional archives, represent a growing collection of historic documents— most never before available on the Internet. The Footnote.com collections feature documents relating to the Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, U.S. Presidents, historical newspapers, naturalization documents, and much more. Some other very notable material includes the Matthew Brady collection of Civil War photos and UFO documents from 1947 – 1969.

Historical coverage of the world (excluding the U.S. and Canada) from 1450 to the present. It contains bibliographic references, including abstracts, from over 2000 journals published worldwide; plus citations to relevant books and dissertations.

History Reference Center  

History Reference Center is a comprehensive full text history reference database designed for secondary schools, public libraries, junior/community colleges and undergraduate research. The database features full text for more than 1,990 reference books, encyclopedias and non-fiction books from leading history publishers, such as Branden Publishing, Compass Point Books, Houghton Mifflin, Lerner Publishing Group, Mason Crest Publishers, Oliver Press, and many more. Content includes nearly 57,000 historical documents, more than 77,000 biographies of historical figures, and more than 1,990 full-text reference books, encyclopedias and non-fiction books.

Hobbies & Crafts Reference Center  

Provides comprehensive full-text content for many of the most popular hobbies, crafts and recreation activities today. Including full text for more than 960 magazines and books, as well as access to more than 720 videos and more than 140 hobby profiles, this database offers detailed "how-to" instructions and creative ideas to meet the interests of virtually every hobby enthusiast.

Home Improvement Reference Center  

Home Improvement Reference Center(tm) is the definitive online tool for home improvement assistance including: maintenance, remodeling, electrical work, plumbing, wood projects, outdoor improvements, decorating home and garden, etc. This comprehensive resource contains 24 major reference works in full text with more than 10,00 images(none found available online anywhere else). Additionally, the database contains a full-text magazine (e.g. This Old House). Remote access is available for library patrons for use from home.

Science Reference Center  

Science Reference Center is a comprehensive research database that provides easy access to a multitude of full-text science-oriented content. Designed to meet every student's science research needs, Science Reference Center contains full text for hundreds of science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals and other sources. Topics covered include biology, chemistry, earth & space science, environmental science, health & medicine, history of science, life science, physics, science & society, science as inquiry, scientists, technology and wildlife.

Small Engine Repair Reference Center  

This MCLS group subscription is offered to Public Libraries. EBSCO Small Engine Repair Reference Center is a full-text database that contains reference and instructional information about small engine machinery maintenance and repair. Unlimited Access in-house and remote.

SPORTDiscus  

A comprehensive bibliographic database covering sport, physical fitness, and numerous related topics. SPORTDiscus contains over 750,000 records, with coverage going back as early as 1800.  Coverage also includes over 20,000 dissertations and theses and references to articles in over 60 languages.

SPORTDiscus with Full Text  

One of the world's most comprehensive sources of full text for sports & sports medicine journals. This database contains over 700,000 full text articles from 415+journals indexed in SPORTDiscus, with some articles going back to 1985.  Articles from more than 180 of the covered journals are not available in full text in any other EBSCO product.
